Contemporaneous villa – Le Rouret
Significant topographic constraints imposed the location of the villa: slope, southern exposure on the access road and an important green area in the lower part of the terrain.
To create a living area around the swimming pool, on the side of the best exhibition, the villa is built on a low level reserved partly for parking vehicles and rooms. This level, partly buried, is dressed in stones to create a base similar to a natural restanque.
The villa develops in length to benefit, thanks to a desired transparency, of a double exposure: sunny south side and forest view on the north side.
Finally, its tiled roof, wished by the municipality, remains discreet set back from the play of the banners delimiting the covered outdoor spaces.
