This villa, a parallelepiped with symmetric facades, superimposed and carefully framed openings, mouldings and carved cornerstones, three rows of genoises (recessed Mediterranean tiles) placed on a sheet of clay and a four-slope roof… is a superb example of the architectural style of the country houses found in the city of Aix. It is a feast for the eyes with a very classical composition balance and the sweet harmony of its colours.
