The challenge was to arrange various functions of the tourist office within the existing space, which was constrained by a substantial stairwell. These functions included public reception, an internet area, displays for advertising brochures and documentation, as well as space to showcase and sell local products. The space regained its sense of volume by positioning the furniture in front of the glass facades, thus minimizing the intense sunlight exposure in the late afternoon. Despite the limitations of a tight budget, using simple materials resulted in a bright and inviting outcome.
