The removal of an adjoining bathroom has enabled the kitchen to be enlarged and opened wide to the south, onto the garden. A large, convivial island, which can be used as a table if required, has now taken its place in the center. The piano set the tone for the colors of the furniture and worktops in this no-longer-concealed room. The bespoke bookcase dresses the west wall of the living room, integrating a contemporary fireplace and television. The space is enlarged and the eye is drawn to the carefully selected furniture. The richness of the space comes from the fact that each object is a work of art.
