PURE MONTAGNE RESORT & SPA

Saint-Martin-Vesubie

Saint-Martin-Vesubie

To revitalize the upper part of the Alpes-Maritimes department, particularly the Vésubie Valley, the Departmental Council has undertaken several initiatives to attract mountain enthusiasts, nature lovers, and vacationing families. These initiatives include the Boréon cabins, the wolf reserve or Parc Alpha, the thermal center of Berthemont-Les-Bains, and the mountain sports hub of Saint-Martin-Vésubie.

With increasing number of people drawn by these activities, providing additional accommodation options to complement the existing hotels and guesthouses became essential. The Pure Montagne Resort tourist residence was the answer to this need. Spearheaded by SAS Destination Vésubie, this ambitious four-star project offers an impressive capacity of 200 beds distributed across seven chalets. Each chalet consists of fully equipped and tastefully decorated apartments with 2, 3, and even four rooms, a testament to the skill and talent of interior architect Diane Falavel.

Designed in the local architectural style, these recently completed residences in Saint-Martin-Vésubie blend harmoniously with the landscape, thanks to the use of noble and natural materials like larch wood for the roofing shingles and stone for the facade cladding. Positioned on both sides of the Chemin de la Madone, they form an authentic residential hamlet with consistent architecture, offering breathtaking views of the valley.

Welcoming residents at the entrance and in the lower part of the site, a reception building provides comfort after hiking on the surrounding trails, mountain biking adventures, canyoning, or a relaxing spa session. Equipped with cozy lounge armchairs, a well-stocked bar, and a grand stone fireplace radiating warmth, this space is perfect for socializing with friends or family while enjoying the panoramic view. Younger residents can access a dedicated multimedia playroom for relaxation and entertainment.

A thoughtful selection of materials, furniture, textures, and colors has bestowed these spacious areas with a warm, cozy, and comfortable atmosphere worthy of a renowned ski resort hotel.

The retaining walls blend into the landscape, intentionally filled with local stones. The vegetation in the project, consisting of species already present on the site, creates a visual continuity with the surroundings.
