This program of 31 social housing units at the entrance of Contes consists of two buildings, each built on a semiunderground parking area, and five semi-detached villas. Particular care has been given to the treatment of the facades. The base formed by the parking infrastructure has been clad in stone, reminiscent of terraced walls, and crowned with a molding that distinguishes it from the residential units. The intentionally protruding volumes, highlighted by their Nice red color, contrast with the white structure of the terraces on the first level. The choice of single-leaf French doors, taller than they are wide, provides ample natural light to the apartments and minimizes visual obstructions. The quality of the project is evident in the attention to detail, starting from the entrance.
