This ambitious project undertaken by the municipality of Le Rouret includes a daycare facility with 50 cribs and 11 senior housing units to enhance the necessary infrastructure for the town’s growth. Situated near the middle school and at the edge of the urban area, the project incorporates an elevated parking area that facilitates the easy drop-off of young children. Despite the program’s complexity, given the interplay of functions, the daycare center forms the base for the housing units. The design remains straightforward and centers around a courtyard. It provides protection from noise pollution from the Departmental road and shaded areas created by the building.
